As The League Continues To Progress…

As the League continues to progress, lets take a look at some interesting facts so far.

IQ Option Orange and Kainari FC have the best defensive record with just two goals conceded. Columbia are the only team not to achieve a single point so far. The first red card of the season was given this week. We also had the first tie of the season this week, when Kainari FC and IQ Option Black came 2-2. Konstantinos Odysseos continues to lead the top scorer board with 6 goals, but Ali Sherwan with his hat-trick last week managed to move up to second place with 5 goals. 4 other players follow the list with 3 goals. Aleksei Zaitsenko leads the assists list with 4 after his fantastic display this week.

This week we have some important fixtures for the future of the League and all teams are prepared to give it their all to earn the three points.

At this point, we would like to remind everyone that this is a Gentlemen’s Elite Business League and we expect everyone to behave in the appropriate manner. This league was designed for employees to enjoy themselves and bond with colleagues and opponents. Winning at all costs should not be a priority.

Good Luck to all teams.

Kainari FC vs IQ Option (B)

Kainari FC with 6 points was facing IQ Option black who had none, and one would expect a nice a quiet evening. Nobody thought that IQ Option Black would show up better than ever.

The game started with a very slow pace and both teams struggled to attack organized. Defensively, however, they both looked solid and hard to beat.

It wasn’t until the first mistakes from the defenders where we started to see the chances coming from either side. The first goal came for IQ Option Black and set fire to the game. Kainari FC managed to turn the game round and just when they looked like they would clinch the 3 points came the equalizer to give us the first draw of the season.

No team will be happy with the draw, but it was fair and square in the end.

BDS vs RCB

In two games, BDS and RCB both managed to earn three points each. This week both wanted the win to stay close to the leaders and it was a well-awaited encounter between the two sides.

The first half started and finished without anything exciting, with both teams looking more to defend rather than attack.

Who would’ve expected a super second half from BDS though? Only seconds after the kick-off, they scored and gained the lead. RCB weren’t willing to give up and tried to equalize. BDS took advantage of the space they found and finished off the game. Sherwan Ali got his hat-trick and moved up the goalscorers table to second.

There is still a long way to go in the league but these two sides have shown that they will improve week by week and could cause damage to any side.

IQ Option vs Columbia

IQ Option Orange wanted their third win in a row and were prepared to do anything to achieve their goal. Columbia on the other hand, showed up ready to destroy that party and got the lead early in the game.

IQ Option Orange were in no shock, however, equalizing quite early. Having Aleksei Zaitsenkov on a great assisting day, Sergey Astakhov on the fantastic scoring form and the goalkeeper Sotiris Panteli who saved many shots and one penalty. The orange team managed to turn the game their way and stay top by themselves in the table.

Columbia gave it their all once again and it’s only a matter of time until they start adding points to their board.

Everything is set for round 3

It has been two games already and the standings table has already started to shape up. Of course, there are teams who have had a dream start, winning both of their games, while others are still trying to find their rhythm on the pitch. This week will sure clear out a lot of questions on both ends of the table.

It remains to be seen whether the two leaders; Kainari FC and IQ Option Orange will keep their unbeaten record. Also, some teams are still seeking their first points on the board and this week provides the perfect opportunity to do so.

Konstantinos Odisseos is currently leading the goalscorers ranking and will want to add more to his tally with another good performance this week.

Everything can change this week and all teams are prepared to give it their best for the three points!

Good luck to everyone!

IQ Option (O) vs IQ Option (B)

A really tough game for those watching with few chances but many strong challenges between the two sides. It was really clear that neither side wanted to lose and the game was really tactical. Both goalkeepers were on form and kept their goals safe from danger. One goal late in the first half from Joan Lopez was enough to split the two sides and give all three points to the orange side of the IQ office. It was their second win in two games while IQ Option Black will try their luck again next week for their first league points.

The second game had many ups and downs, and RCB managed to get a sweet comeback and win the game! Having Ellinas Philopimin with two assists and Andreas Theodorou with two goals on a great night, they clinched their first victory of the season.
Last year’s Champions Columbia fought till the very end but unfortunately didn’t manage to get any points from the game.

Kainari FC vs BDS

Two teams that won last week went head to head with the chance to stay on the top of the table.

Kainari FC played quick and good football and finished the game in style. The score suggests an easier game than what it actually was, with BDS hitting the post twice when the score was 1-0 and 2-0 respectively. BDS have shown us what a good side they are and are prepared to leave this one behind starting from next week. Kainari FC, on the other hand, are starting to build their dominance and have won a second in a row without even conceding!

Can they maintain this run and stay on the top of the table?

Ready For Round 2.

After a fascinating first day, we are all ready for round 2. This week we will have one game starting at 19:30 with Kainari FC and BDS both wanting to double up their wins from last week. It is an eagerly anticipated game as both sides have shown signs of great football in their first matches.

On the other game, RCB will face Columbia and both teams will want to record their first points on the table. After a difficult start to the new season, we are sure that both teams will appear more prepared for their second match.

Good luck to all teams!

Columbia vs Kainari FC

The first game of the new season didn’t go as planned for our Champions Columbia. Kainari FC looks like they have come to prove a point and cruised to victory on their first match.
It was a good game, to begin with as both teams appeared tactically prepared for it. After the first goal, however, Kainari FC gained the necessary confidence to finish off the game and win the 3 points.
Lots of missed chances marked the game, especially towards the end where both sides opened up.
Miltiadis Vasileiou and Konstantinos Odisseos stood out for the winners, while Marios Nicolaou and Xanthos Kyriakou tried their best for the Columbia side.

The score of the day was recorded by BDS as they cruised to victory against IQ Option Black.
The match was tougher than the score suggests as IQ Option Black had many chances to score throughout the game, but failed to convert their shots into goals.
BDS, on the other hand, have shown that this season they have come more prepared and will play more attacking football. Having Alex Evangelides and Sherwan Ali on a fantastic night, BDS managed to take all 3 points home.
For IQ Option Black, all the players tried but with better luck and some shooting practices will sure hope for a better result next time.
