It’s Raining… Goals!

Team1st Half2nd HalfGoalsOutcome

Columbia vs RCB

The players arrived at the stadium with great enthusiasm and looked eager to play. The first few minutes were a small hint as to what would follow.

We had a super match right in front of us but ended with no winner. Both teams will be happy with the point they earned but know very well that they could’ve won. 7 goals in the second half alone pretty much sums up everything.

One more hat-trick in this game too, with Ellinas Philopimin claiming his three goals. Columbia has 4 different scorers on the other hand.

In the end, the draw looked fair, but the improvement these two sides are showing week in week out is the most pleasing factor of all.

Typhoon: Goal!

BDS vs Kainari FC

It was a tough encounter on paper as BDS wanted to win in their pursuit of the top spot while Kainari FC were determined to prove that last weeks shock was a rare one.

The match was one to be enjoyed by all with a total of 10 goals scored. The second half was vital since Kainari FC scored 6 to finish off the game. Top scorer Konstantinos Odysseos added another 3 to his tally enjoying a great scoring streak. Nikos Metzitikos scored a hat-trick of his own proving that he is not a goalkeeper after all! BDS fought for the majority of the game, but need to convert their chances into goals with greater ease if they are to get results in such games.

It was the highest-scoring game of the season so far and what else can we expect from these full attacking powers of our league?

As We Head Into The Next Round…

As we head into the next round we look forward to the exciting fixtures that this week will have.

Only two games will be played this week as the IQ Option internal “battle” is postponed. Kainari FC with 13 points on the top of the league will go head to head with BDS who sit right behind them with 10 points. It is easy to see how important this match is as BDS have been waiting for this game for a very long time, as they will not only try and win to go top of the league but also get back after losing their first match against Kainari FC. After their first loss last week, on the other hand, Kainari FC will be more determined than ever to win and show to everyone why they are joint first so far.

In the other game of the night, RCB and Columbia will want to take advantage of the other game and move closer to the top with a win, also increasing the distance with their rivals below them.

It will be another fascinating week; we cannot wait till Monday!

Good luck to all teams!

A Point Each!

BDS vs IQ Option (B)

An open game started with both teams playing well with creative intentions to score. IQ Option Black had the lead 2-1 at the break and looked to be finishing off the game when they made it 3-1 early in the second half.
BDSwiss had a different opinion and came back to draw the game. With time to spare, we couldn’t tell how the game would finish.
As no team managed to score in the end, both will be happy with the draw as it could have gone either way. Well done to both teams who played for the win, but a few mistakes at the back gave their opponents easy goals; that’s something to look out for.

Intensive Finish!

Columbia vs Kainari FC

Last years Champions Columbia met with this season’s league leaders Kainari FC in one of the most interesting matches in the league where we encountered unused situations, emotions and goals.
The players that stood out for the winners were the goalkeeper of Columbia, George Papaioannou and Marios Shittas. For Kainari FC, there was too much attention on the strength and not the accuracy of the shot, which resulted in a vast number of missed chances. Kainari FC have to leave their first defeat of the season behind and bounce back with a win next week.
It was certainly a shock result, but if Columbia manage to keep up appearances like this one, then who knows what we can expect this season?

Nothing Is Easy!

IQ Option (O) vs RCB

Each match shows just how difficult this league is. Any team can beat anyone if they put the effort into it.
IQ Option Orange played nicely in the beginning and took an early 2-0 lead but then focused on protecting their lead. RCB are a team that can cause problems and proved it in this game coming back to draw the match. Ellinas Philopimin scored both goals in what looked like the comeback of the year. In the end, it was a thriller with both teams missing chances for the win. But unfortunately, we were set for a draw as both teams clinched a point each.
IQ Option Orange will still be happy with the point after seeing Kainari FC lose this week. All is tight up at the top and we wait to see what surprises the future holds.

As We Have Completed The First Series Of Games…

As we have completed the first series of games and all teams have played against everyone, now is the chance for teams to evaluate their journey so far. It is also a great opportunity to improve and ‘get back’ on any team they now know more about. Anything can happen now as all teams know each other well and we expect them to be more prepared for each game.

Starting from this week, where teams will face each other for the second time. Teams on the top of the table will look to secure points to stay in the leading positions; while teams closer to the bottom side of the league will want to move up by adding points to their tally.

On an individual basis now, Konstantinos Odisseos seems to be first and clear on the Top Scorers board, while it is much more tight on the Assists board. We must point out Aleksei Zaitsenkov who is the only player to feature on the top 5 positions on both boards. Some players will need to do better if they want to improve their personal rank, and in return help their team improve as a whole.

We expect a lot more surprises in the league as the best is yet to come!

We wish the teams all the best for the next round!

Back At The Top!

Kainari FC vs IQ Option (O)

A game for the record books with plenty of goals and super attacking football. Everyone present enjoyed a fantastic display and an open game from the two sides. It was clear why these two teams are top of the table.

IQ Option Orange started the game stronger and finished the first half in the lead 2-1. The chances kept coming and going and we were up for a thriller. Kainari FC kept their cool in front of goal and managed to turn things around and win the match! It was so close and could’ve gone either way.

This means we now have a change in the top of the table and Kainari FC are back in the leading position. IQ Option Orange will be happy with their appearance despite their defeat and will fight for the championship till the very end.

Rise And Fall

IQ Option (B) vs RCB

IQ Option Black desperately wanted to keep up their good appearances and needed a win to get off the bottom of the table. RCB had no intentions of losing and were prepared to fight for their second victory of the season.
The game was really close and both teams had clear chances to score. The high levels of stress were an important factor in the match and influenced the players. Either side had their dominating period during the game and the first half finished with a draw 1:1.

IQ Option Black opened the second half when Giacomo Basile put the ball in the back of the net after a great assist of Dimitris Exanthos. Unfortunately, a moment later, they lost the opportunity to increase a score when Maxim Pepelyaev pulled off a great save.

RCB with Ellinas Philopimin and Michael Antonis managed to convert their chances into goals much easier and came down it to the final whistle in order for us to find a winner.

RCB’s win was a vital one and the 3 points were celebrated vastly. IQ Option Black played another great game and it is only a matter of time for them to start adding points to their tally.

Derbies “Man”- Day!

This evening it will keep us in high “Agonia”. Two top teams Kainari FC and IQ Option Orange will burn the field to keep their leading position.

At the same time, the very interesting game will take place between IQ Option Black and RCB  where they are engaged in a rivalry to reach the points that they need both so much.

Columbia is back after their great last performance and focusing to upgrade their position at the end of the 1/3 of the Season. BDS with their potential will also try to avoid any mistake and drive home with 3 points.

For fans, players and coaches, these are the games that you love to win and hate to lose.

Good luck to all teams!

Columbia Comeback!

Columbia vs IQ Option (B)

A game between two teams who desperately needed points to get off the bottom of the league. On one side we had Columbia; who were the only team without a point, and on the other IQ Option Black who clinched their first point only last week.

The game was open and both sides looked to attack. They both had chances but Columbia kept their cool in front of goal and got an early lead which they kept until the end of the game. IQ Option Black tried their best to come back but Columbia grew the margin having Marios Shittas on a great scoring evening and Xanthos Kyriacou sharing nice assists. The score opened up in the end and shows Columbia’s fantastic attacking skills but is a bit unfair on IQ Option Black who gave much more than what they got out of the match!

It was a game enjoyed by all due to the high scoring record and now that all teams have points in the league we will have the chance to see more stress-free, fascinating football!

A Match With No Goalkeepers!

Team1st Half2nd HalfGoalsOutcome
Kainari FC202Win

Kainari FC vs RCB

Kainari FC lost their first points last week and had to win to get back on track, while RCB have had a mixture of results and are battling to find stability.

The game was marked with the absence of both teams’ goalkeepers and two players had to protect their team’s goals this week; Nikos Metzitikos and Argyris Konstantinou! Both did very well, with Nikos also recording a clean sheet – the third this year for Kainari FC.

Two goals without reply were enough to give the three points to Kainari FC as they prepare for next weeks first vs second clash against IQ Option Orange. RCB, on the other hand, missed lots of chances in the game but their strikers had forgotten their scoring boots home this week. They will need more luck next game if they are to return to their winning ways.

Hat – Trick And Done!

BDS vs IQ Option (O)

It was a really tough and highly anticipated encounter we were up against. Two sides aiming high this season were up against a crucial game.

IQ Option Orange with Joan Lopes who was on great form and scored a hat-trick to secure all three points for his side and maintain them alone, top of the league right before next weeks game against second-placed Kainari FC who are breathing right behind them. Of course, nothing would have been possible without Sotiris Panteli, their goalkeeper, who stopped BDS on several occasions from scoring.

The score suggests a much easier game than what it actually was. BDS created a lot of chances but failed to convert them to goals. Sherwan Ali managed to score one and stayed in the second place of the goalscorers board. But unfortunately that wasn’t enough and BDS need to show more consistency in their form if they are to improve their league position.
